Admissions and Application Policy

Application process: Application packets for admission to ECA are available to any family that expresses a desire for their child to receive an education based on Christian values and principles. Application packets are available in the school office.

Application Fee: Application packets are to be completed and returned to the ECA office with an application fee of $50. Each page of the application must be completed for the admissions process to begin. If the student is accepted, the application fee will be applied towards the registration fee.

Admissions Testing: Applicants seeking admission to ECA for the first time are required to take an admissions test. This test, along with other required information, will be used to determine both admission and placement of the applicant. Age and current grade level will not necessarily determine grade level placement in our program. Applicants can schedule an admissions test once their application packet has been received and reviewed. Note: Applicants providing detailed results of a recently taken standardized test may be exempt from taking the admission test at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

Applicant File: Each applicant, with the exception of those applying for Kindergarten, must submit their most recent grade report and a teacher's recommendation form. Those applying for Kindergarten are required to submit a Kindergarten Recommendation Form.

Admissions Committee: After all required information has been submitted and the admissions test has been scored, the Admissions Committee will evaluate the applicant's file and decide admission and/or placement. Parents will be notified of the committee's decision in a timely manner. The Admissions Committee may recommend that the applicant be admitted on a provisional basis.

Intentionally misleading or false information during the application process may result in the student being denied admission or removed upon discovery.

ECA reserves the right to deny admission of any applicant.

ECA does not discriminate on the basis of color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of the admission procedure.
