Mission & Vision
Biblical Basis - The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and is absolute truth. It is inerrant, authoritative, the only sufficient rule for faith and practice, and the foundation for all areas of education.
Education is based on absolute truth, which comes from God, and is revealed to us by His Son, the Holy Spirit, the Word and the created world.
The Parent - The parent is primarily responsible for the education and care of the child.
The Student - Each student is created in the image of God and is endowed with unique talents and gifts in accordance with God's plan. In light of this, every student has unlimited potential and worth in God's eyes.
The Teacher - The teacher plays a unique and vitally important role in the Christian school. The teacher must create an effective learning environment so that the child can develop intellectually, socially, spiritually and physically. Furthermore, teachers must strive to model Christ in their actions, attitudes, speech, and relationships with staff, parents and students.
The School - Christian education is the result of all knowledge being tested against, and integrated with, a Biblically based view of God and the world. Christian principles and doctrine will be taught in all grades using God's Word as the foundation. The school will promote excellence by maintaining high academic and behavioral standards.
Students will be encouraged to demonstrate what they are being taught concerning their faith and to grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Christ. Students will learn to share and defend their faith in Jesus and God's Word.
The curriculum will be a tool used to develop the whole person, and should be consistent with a Biblical worldview. A strong emphasis will be placed on creativity, problem-solving and higher-level thinking skills. Academic subjects will be taught with excellence, building students with character who will serve God and be contributing members of our society.
