Tuition Assistance Policy

Families seeking financial help with tuition can apply for financial assistance. All tuition assistance is based on a demonstrated need using the FACTS Grant and Aid Needs Assessment. The Tuition Assistance committee will then consider the assessment made by FACTS along with other supporting documentation and make recommendations to the Board for financial assistance packages. Upon Board approval, families will be notified of whether they will be awarded tuition assistance and the amount of the award. The following conditions will apply to this policy:

1. Book fees and registration must be paid by the family.
2. The family must pay the $25 fee for the outside assessment done by FACTS.
3. All tuition assistance monies are contingent upon admission of the student by the Admission Committee and the student remaining in good academic and behavioral standing with the school.
4. Deadline for applications will be April 30th of the previous school year.
5. Award amounts are not guaranteed to be the same from year to year.
6. Families are required to re-apply each year if they seek tuition assistance.
7. The school will notify applicants of award amounts by June 15th.

How to apply: (only one application per family should be completed)

1. Fill out the Eastside Christian Academy Tuition Assistance Program application and return it to the ECA office by April 30th.
2. Fill out FACTS Grant and Aid Needs Assessment online application. Go to www.factstuitionaid.com . Send in required documentation and completed online application by April 30. Applicants are responsible for the $25 fee for the online application.

NOTIFICATION: The ECA Tuition Assistance Program Review Committee will review all applications and FACTS needs assessments and make recommendations to the ECA Board of Directors. The ECA Board of Directors will make all final decisions on award amounts. All applicants will be notified by mail by June 15th whether they qualify for tuition assistance and the amount of the award.

Please note: Only students who have applied and been admitted to ECA prior to the April 30th deadline will be eligible for tuition assistance.
